Unknown Quantities is a collaborative project with equal importance and opportunity to publication content and curation as the design approach. This 5th edition investigates what is peripheral. The content features essays, stories and artwork spotlighting ‘fringe’ perspectives.
The visual direction of the publication took direct inspiration from the content, rethinking information hierarchy. By making what is usually secondary information the largest, we could highlight the often overlooked or skipped parts of editorial publications, challenging expectations.
