For our Work in Progress show, my cohort played with the expected conventions of graphic design publication and used live interviews coupled with digital display and a small collection of work. I explain more of my process, intentions, and work so far in the interview above. It was really refreshing for me to speak about my work in a different format. In tutorials sometimes it can feel like I'm defending my work, which is not my intention but it can be difficult to synthesis feedback in the moment. And in this interview it was more like a natural conversation and somehow I felt a bit more relaxed, if not always articulate, and free to discuss how politics are currently shaping my work.
